GUYANA FOR JESUS
SPREADING THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS IN A REMOTE AREA

(Work-in-progress)

Heeding the great commission of Jesus to go into the world to preach God's word and submitting to the Holy Spirit to lead may take you to places that are real challenges. But God makes no mistakes. Where ever He leads you He has made provision for you.

I found that out in November 2007 when I was lead to a settlement that was at the edge of the jungle in an area named Soesdyke. I prayerfully asked the Lord Jesus to lead me to a place where the need for His message to be taken.

I hired a taxi to take me to this place but I had no idea where I should disembark.  I asked the driver to pull over by the road side and leave me alone for a few minutes. Then I sought God's guidance and was lead to this area.

From the road side I saw five buildings and a pathway that lead to them.

I felt that this was the place that God meant. th
The pictures below provide a glimpse of what life was like in the village.

Delivered from Heart Surgery

I lay on the operating table in the Cath-Lab at Sunny Brook Hospital naked except for this gown over me just after 07.00h on that deep freeze, snowy morning of January 12, 2018 as the nurse was preparing me for the surgical procedure.

I was going to have an angioplasty done on me to insert a stent in the main artery that supplies blood to the heart. An angiogram had been done on me about three weeks prior that revealed a totally blocked stent that had been inserted in March 2011. There were other multiple arterial blockages in the vicinity of grafts that had been placed there during a heart bypass surgery 18 years ago. I was told that those arteries could not be repaired.

Just before I was to be given the intravenous injection the surgeon came in the room, took my chart and was probably reviewing the report. He then pulled a nearby chair and sat down. He then asked me to give him a brief history of my illness. He also asked me about my lifestyle, including eating and exercise which I do three or four times weekly.

After he made a few comments and asked a few more questions he decided that I should not have the operation and I could go home.

I was so delighted at those words that I started praising God for His intervention to save me from having another stent in my body.

However, I was not surprised because I had been praying that Our Lord Jesus make it possible for me not to have another stent, and two nights prior I felt my chest vibrating ever so gently as I was praying.

I am now free from pains in my chest and under my left arm. I now do various activities without any difficulty.

PRAISE OUR LORD JESUS. HIS PROMISE IS TRUE.

Jesus can also help you if only you believe that He is the only begotten Son of GOD

With GOD all things are possible.
